Halloween- the HOWL :)

Wow okay! It was a pretty awesome weekend! I actually have felt like Halloween was a whole month event going to scary places, bon fires, scary movies, pumpkin painting, and of course the HOWL!
All month I was scared out of my mind.. I don't exactly know why! But something about this year really freaked me out! My friends came up the weekend of Halloween and I am so glad that they did. I have really missed them and they made the HOWL better than I could have imagined!

Shalena and Carly came up and we had fun playing games and sleeping in forts! Yes.. we are like 5 year olds! But it was awesome! :) Sawyer, Jaron, Kat, and Caitlyn came up and we got to see Jen!! We all dressed up got some good food and got some priceless looks ;) First of all we got into the HOWL so easily! The dance party was the best part, Cartel was popular back in the day so we didn't really know how to dance to it. But with all our friends there we had the time of our lives dancing like freaks to the DJ in the back of the crowd :) Typical us!

The best was the guys that would try and hit on us but would fail.. :)

Jen and I had so much fun finding Waldos and following the creepy ninja around! It was pretty entertaining. Also the random guy that would do cheer tricks with me was pretty interesting! Don't know where he came from half the time but there he was ready to flip me! Apparently mine and Caitlyn's costumes were fails because I guess I looked like Ke$ha and she did not look like a eskimo "don't eskimos cover up" -"she's a slutty eskimo duh! It's Halloween" -maddie

There were some great laughs! I love my friends so much :D

After we stayed up talking and laughing our heads off! :) Pretty sure no one could go to sleep but finally 4:30 hit :)

Roomies :)

My roommates are just great! I have to say I lucked out :)


Madeline: Well we are just best of friends! We talk until the late hours of the night & have the best time (sometimes not as ourselves, we role play and cause awkward tension for others around us) But we are practically together 24/7 and joke that we need more time together! Yeah, people don't understand how we can go so long without getting sick of each other but something about our friendship just clicks. It is really a strange thing but I love it & wouldn't change it. I am so glad we are roommates :) We have some pretty amazing times together :)
Amanda: Oh she is just hilarious! I used to be scared of her.. and still am a little! But she wants that :) She lays everything out on the line & tells you exactly how it is no matter if it hurts you! I love it when she is hyper she is seriously hysterical! Sometimes I think she should be a comedian!
Bria: ...... no words...... she moved out unexpectantly... but oh well she never talked to Maddie & I so it was like she was a ghost for a long time :)
Tasha: She brought us a lot of stuff so we are all very grateful for that! I don't know her too well but she is nice :) I like her just haven't had the time to get to know her well. She always does something cute for us though, for Christmas she read us a little story & got us an orange :)
Beth: Oh this girl is a sweet little angel! I don't think I've met anyone so happy with everything & so sincere! She also is very service oriented and it is so nice to come home & have your dishes magically cleaned! Thanks Beth :) She is really funny too at first I didn't know how opinionated she was but she is just too cute :) She is really just a sweetheart!
Courtney: First she is hardly ever home she just is always out with her friends or boys ;) but she is so so funny!! We laugh because half of the things she says are a little out there! But I absolutely love her!! At first I thought she was going to be super dramatic but she isn't at all! Yeah she gets a little frustrated at first but she is so laid back & such an easy person to live with!
Dianne: Oh my Canadian roommate!! I just adore her! My first impression of her was that she "loves make up" and I don't let her live that down but that has come in handy! She is so funny!! We make fun of her a lot but she is so sweet and takes it with a smile but she can dish it right back :) Sometimes she says the wrong thing at the wrong time but that is what I love about her.. She is sincere and means what she says! She doesn't sugar coat what she has to say either unless we call her out on it. Her makeup skills have come in handy I am learning a lot from her. Sometimes I don't understand how she doesn't have a boyfriend!!! Any guy would  be so lucky to have her! Psh.. dumb boys. I love her :)

Thank you to all of the soliders who are protecting our freedom everyday watching as people die daily.
Thank you for making the difference in our lives that we take for granted.
Thank you for helping & making a difference to those people in Afghanistan & Iraq and helping them become safe as well.

My baby!!!

I miss my Isabelle!!!!!!!! I love that little beautiful thing! She is the best puppy in the world! I wish she was at college with me! :( I miss her always trying to lick my face, cuddle with me every second of the day, and bark at strangers! OH I just love her so much!!!! I don't care what you strange people say about her she is the greatest dog in the world! :)

First Week of College!

It is so weird to think that I am a college student now! I absolutely love it!! :) I thought I wouldn't like being in the dorms but I think it was the best decision I have made!! Every night is a party! It is really werid doing everything on my own but I have been loving it so far! I am so grateful that my grandpa has given me this oppourtunity, I really can't thank him enough! I wouldn't be here without him for sure.
Maddie and I have decorated our room so it feels just like home :) We have tons of pictures and giant Vanity posters that need a place still! Maddie and I have spent 24/7 together but we choke that we wisht that we could have 25/8 together :) people told us that we would hate each other.. but honestly I have not gotten sick of her but we get in the same moods and know each other well enough to know when to just lay off :)
Our roommates call us Matalie (thanks Amanda) they are all great!!! We love them all and all of them are very different from each other. I have become really close to Canada (Diane) she is awesome. We met a great group of friends because a boy helped us move all our crap so we made him & his roommates spaghetti :) We soon became friends with his roommates. We have movies over there all the time and are comfortable just to waltz on in :) The Boys across the hall have also become our friends, we both keep our doors open and we walk in whenever they want and same for them! They have also helped us with our technology stupidity :) They are all so great! :)
From riding a mechanical bull to crazy dance parties to lame mandatory meetings! We always seem to have the best time! :) It's only been one week and I am done with the activities & just want to sleep! But even when we get done early I wind up falling alseep at 4! I blame Maddie for making me hyper because we just laugh hysterically!
The other day we met these kids who are super adventurous!! Just the type of people we want to be around :) We cliff diving but ended up jumping out of a tree 20 ft tall! It was scary climbing up but so worth it! After we went and "Cleaned the Sink" at Angies. They give you a sink of ice cream that you eat! We did it but laughed hysterically the whole way through! We got such dirty looks because we were so loud :) After we were all jittery and hyper so we rolled down Old Main Hill! Then at 11:41 we watched a movie. And made the most disgusting cookies! :D
I am loving it so much and feel so lucky that I have this experience!!! Thank you to everyone that helped me get here :)

California :D

Cute..

The drive there was about 7 hours more than it was supposed to because of Jeff's dumb car and it's decision to be difficult! We had to stop twice. Once on the way to Las Vegas where luckily the gas station guy was SO nice & helped us a ton! We finally got it going but had to go 65 mph. Great. Our family does not know how to caravan. Steve is just a speed demon and couldn't stay behind us and lost us completely if he was the leader. Dad wasn't that great either.. He by no means is a speed demon like Steve but he had his own issues leading or following. And our car definitely almost got hit by a semi because at last second we had to make the exit. And once in Barstow for 2 hours! The heat was ridiculous!! I am so glad there was a Starbucks so that at least Sami & Grayson could get out of it for a little while. The car was going to cost us a ton.. and we were sure they were just trying to rip us off so we decided to just try and make it to San Clementie! The guy was not happy and was a complete jerk about it. Good thing prayers work, thank you Sami :)


Wow California was so much fun!!! I love it there! Maybe one day I will live there :) I am so glad this is our new family tradition :) Although we have a "complicated" family we all get along so well! There is never drama... Except for the occasional Ryan & Nicole feuds but those have pretty much disappeared. We are able to laugh and play games.. Okay when we play games that is when our true colors come to life! Mom, Jeff, Sami, me, and adopted Jordan definitely got too into the game clue & hearts!! We were yelling at each other. Poor Ryan just wanted to play an honest game of clue... but when it came to the rest of us we did not play honestly.. But that's what made it more fun, yes? Randy was too into A Dre and against our decieving way of playing games.




After the wait of 3 hours for the roller coaster, we got what we wanted... wet! :D

Seaworld was super fun & very... uh... well you know.  We all are eternally grateful Scott was able to come into our life and we will never forget that man. Or that this is "ONE WORLD, ONE OCEAN, ONE PLANET" thank you Seaworld!! :) We also were lucky to get in a helicopter and almost DIE! We got out of a tough pickle there.

Knotts Berry Farm was great. Waiting in lines for two hours or more.. Especially that water ride, 3 hours later we are on the 12 second ride. For most it was not worth it. But for Jeff he met Witness, score! Randy and Ryan were self concious of us talking about any other race. Grayson was lucky and got 5 stuffed animals.. how he managed that is a mystery!

The beach was so much fun! Freezing at night and I refused to get in at night. But at one everyday it warmed up. As our family tradition we buried the youngins.. Zach & Sami. I wish we buried Grayson but that would have given him a heart attack since he absolutely does not like the sand near him! Eventually he warmed up :) Sami did not like being buried at all since she was being "suffocated" so we dug her out and put Randy in. We all got dominated by the HUGE waves. I don't think I should've watched Shark Week before going to California. We did see dolphins!! Zach & I decided that the best thing other than surfboards were the floatation devices :) Ryan decided to push Zach into the HUGE waves... good thing Zach can be brave and didn't cry when he completely got dominated!! Mom, Randy, and I once got out a little too far and couldn't get back.. we paniced a little but it was way fun to see Mom get attacked! It was super fun!!! :D I love the beach!! :)

MOVING!!

Tomorrow I am moving Logan!!! I am so excited to get away.. My ten main reasons are:
1. Learning to cook.. I desperately need to learn how to feed myself.
2. No curfew.. I'll be honest I can't wait not to be stressed about being home on time.
3. Meet new friends.. I love meeting new people!!
4. Learning to be completely independent
5. Fulfilling my dream of living with my best friend Maddie.. for years we talked about it!!
6. Having friends so close by in my dorm!
7. Being far enough but close enough to see my family & Izzy
8. My very own address & being able to decorate how ever I please (except nails, those are frowned upon)
9. Singles ward.. I have heard they are the best.
10. That much closer to starting my major :)


I am so excited!!! But there are a lot of things that I am going to miss too. Good thing I am able to come home. I am going to miss my puppy so much. I don't know how I am going to sleep without her in my bed but I guess I can survive one semester :) hopefully she can too!
